Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI), 8-7 in a league battle.
The Quakers now have a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host East Greenwich for a Division 1 (State) battle on Friday, April 19. Moses Brown will clash with a Avengers squad coming off a 28-6 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 1-3.
In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a Division 1 (State) battle, on Friday, April 19. Bishop Hendricken will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Mounties come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 13-12 league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI).
