The Sanderson Spartans lacrosse squad (Raleigh, NC), was overwhelmed 20-8 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC)
Coming up next, the Capitals meet the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) in a CAP 6 challenge, on Thursday, April 18. Broughton will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 16-2 league win over Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC).
The Spartans now sport a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Sanderson will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 17-3 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 13-2.
