The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes lacrosse team scored 13 points and held the host Cary Christian Knights to 8 in the Hurricanes non-league win on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes (8-3) will now prepare for their match against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Saints go into the NCISAA - Division II match with a 3-7 record.

The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, Arendell Parrott Academy was overwhelmed by St. David's (Raleigh, NC), 18-0, in a non-league match.
