California High School Lacrosse - Cardinal Newman gets by Rancho Cotate

The crowd at Tuesday's league game between the Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Santa Rosa, CA) and the visiting Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA), saw Cardinal Newman's lacrosse team nudge Rancho Cotate by a tally of 6-5.

The Cardinals now have a 14-2 record.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Windsor Jaguars (Windsor, CA) in a Vine Valley test, on Thursday, April 18. Rancho Cotate will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 4-10 record after their 18-1 league loss to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA).
