The South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 8-2 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, South Brunswick upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Cougars host Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Vikings in a Mideastern outing on Wednesday, April 17. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 6-6. Hoggard won 17-3 in their recent league outing against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
With the defeat, West Brunswick drops to 1-10 on the season. The Trojans travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to battle the Pirates in a Mideastern outing on Friday, April 19. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 14-2. Topsail won 16-7 in their recent non-league outing against Croatan (Newport, NC)
