The Rustburg Red Devils softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Amherst County Lancers to 9 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Rustburg moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Liberty (Bedford, VA) to play the Minutemen in a Seminole game on Friday, April 19. The Minutemen come into the game with a record of 7-4.
In their next game, the Lancers play the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) in a Seminole game, on Friday, April 19. Amherst County will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 9-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Brookville (Lynchburg, VA).
