Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Richland for a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, April 19. Grapevine will face a Royals squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Argyle falls to 12-19 on the campaign. The Eagles host Denton (Denton, TX) to face the Broncos in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, April 19. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 7-20. Denton lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX)
