The South Point Red Raiders softball team scored 30 runs and limited the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave to 15 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, South Point improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Red Raiders host East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 17. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 9-5. East Gaston won 9-8 in their recent league game against Burns (Lawndale, NC)

In their next game, the Greenwave clash with the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a Big South 3A game, on Friday, April 19. Ashbrook will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 3-9 record after their 12-1 league win over Huss (Gastonia, NC).
