Ohio High School Softball - Barnesville bounces Union Local

The Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH) softball routed the host Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH), 17-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Shamrocks (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH). The Seminoles go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Monroe Central toppled Bellaire (Bellaire, OH), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

The Jets now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they host St. Clairsville for a Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA bout on Wednesday, April 17. Union Local will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 18-2 league loss to Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-12.
