The Mendon Hornets softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Bellevue Broncos to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mendon improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Hornets host Union City (Union City, MI) to clash with the Chargers in a Big 8 game on Wednesday, April 17. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 0-3.

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Burr Oak Bobcats (Burr Oak, MI) in a Southern Central game, on Thursday, April 18. Bellevue will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the game with a 3-0 record after their 11-3 league win over Colon (Colon, MI).
