The St. Thomas Aquinas Saints routed the host Berlin Mountaineers softball squad by a count of 17-4 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Saints (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Bears go into the Division III battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Newfound Regional topped Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH), 12-5, in a non-league battle.
The Mountaineers now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Kennett for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 17. Berlin will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Laconia (Laconia, NH). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
