Texas High School Softball - Smithson Valley bounces Boerne-Champion

The Smithson Valley Rangers routed the visiting Boerne-Champion Chargers softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Rangers (25-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region IV District 26 battle with a 7-26 record. In their last battle, Pieper was routed by Tivy (Kerrville, TX), 7-3, in a league battle.

The Chargers now sport a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Seguin for a 5A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, April 19. Boerne-Champion will meet a Matadors squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 22-10.
