The Brushton-Moira Panthers softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers to 2 in the Panthers league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Regis Falls for a Section 10 East battle on Saturday, April 20. Brushton-Moira will confront a Saints team coming off a 10-3 league loss to Colton-Pierrepont (Colton, NY). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Parishville-Hopkinton moves to 0-2 on the season. The Panthers host Chateaugay (Chateaugay, NY) to confront the Bulldogs in a Section 10 East battle on Friday, April 19. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Chateaugay won 6-0 in their recent league battle against Madrid-Waddington (Madrid, NY)
