The Meridian Mustangs softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Bullock Creek Lancers to 3 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Meridian moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Heritage (Saginaw, MI) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, April 18. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 4-4. Heritage won 3-2 in their recent league game against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI)

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals (Saginaw, MI) in a Tri-Valley - West II game, on Friday, April 19. Bullock Creek will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 6-2 record after their 29-11 non-league win over Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).
