Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Little Rock Southwest Gryphons (Little Rock, AR), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conway for a 6A Central challenge on Friday, April 19.

With the loss, Little Rock Southwest falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Bryant (Bryant, AR) to battle the Hornets in a 6A Central challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 17-2.
