Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), 10-2 in a league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Point for a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Calvert will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 8-6 league loss to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Patuxent falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Westlake (Waldorf, MD) to battle the Wolverines in a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 1-9. Westlake won 12-9 in their recent league challenge against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD)
