The Colbert County Indians softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Lauderdale County Tigers to 2 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Colbert County improves its record to 20-14 on the year. The Indians host Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, April 18. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 24-7.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL) in a 3A Area 16 game, on Thursday, April 18.
