Forrest Rockets (Chapel Hill, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Community Vikings/Viqueens (Unionville, TN), 6-5 in a league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cannon County for a 2A District 9 challenge on Sunday, April 21. Forrest will battle a Lions squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Providence Christian Academy (Murfreesboro, TN). The Lions record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Community falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Vikings/viqueens travel to Zion Christian Academy (Columbia, TN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 17-5. Zion Christian Academy won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Marshall County (Lewisburg, TN)
