The Bears now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to McMinn Central for a 2A District 3 challenge on Thursday, April 18. Tellico Plains will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Copper Basin falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN) to battle the Panthers in a 1A District 5 challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 5-7.
