The Corning Bobcats softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Piggott Mohawks to 6 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Corning improves its record to 13-7 on the year. The Bobcats host Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Thursday, April 18. The Greyhounds come into the game with a record of 0-13. Marmaduke lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Bay (Bay, AR)

In their next game, the Mohawks clash with the Manila Lions (Manila, AR) in a 3A Region 3 game, on Thursday, April 18. Piggott will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 3-12 record after their 17-6 league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR).
