The Dover Crimson Tornadoes (Dover, OH) softball nipped the visiting Indian Valley Braves (Gnadenhutten, OH), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Crimson Tornadoes (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs go into the non-league bout with a 17-3 record. In their last bout, John Marshall was edged by University (Morgantown, WV), 7-4, in a league bout.

The Braves now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Steubenville for a non-league bout on Friday, April 19. Indian Valley will confront a Big Red squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Big Red record now stands at 11-4.
