The Eastwood Troopers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Franklin Cougars to 4 in the Troopers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Eastwood moves its record to 27-8 on the year. The Troopers host Eastlake (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a 6A Region I District 1 game on Friday, April 19. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 18-15. Eastlake won 8-3 in their recent league game against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 game, on Friday, April 19. Franklin will attempt to move on its 11-24 season record. The Aztecs come into the game with a 18-18 record after their 8-7 league loss to Montwood (El Paso, TX).
