The Humphreys County Cowboys softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Edwards Tigers to 7 in the Cowboys league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Humphreys County moves its record to 1-10 on the year.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Amanda Elzy Panthers (Greenwood, MS) in a 3A Region 3 game, on Wednesday, April 17. Edwards will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 10-6 record after their 8-3 league win over Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS).
