Rogers Mountaineers (Rogers, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fayetteville Bulldogs (Fayetteville, AR), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Mountaineers now own a 23-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gravette for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Rogers will battle a Lions squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, AR). The Lions record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Fayetteville falls to 9-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Northside (Fort Smith, AR) to battle the Grizzlies in a 6A West challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 7-10. Northside won 6-4 in their recent league game against Har-Ber (Springdale, AR)
