Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Matadors now sport a 19-15 record. They take the field next when they host Horizon for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, April 19.

With the loss, Hanks falls to 15-19 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to face the Indians in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, April 19. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 30-4. Ysleta lost 9-4 in their recent league challenge against Del Valle (El Paso, TX)
