South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cocke County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. South Greene will battle a Fighting Cocks squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Fulton (Knoxville, TN). The Fighting Cocks record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Happy Valley falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Warriors host Unicoi County (Erwin, TN) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 17. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 5-10. Unicoi County won 21-0 in their recent non-league game against Hampton (Hampton, TN)
