The Hobbs Eagles softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Roswell Coyotes to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Hobbs improves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Clovis (Clovis, NM) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A District 4 game on Thursday, April 18. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 2-14. Clovis lost 18-0 in their recent league game against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)

In their next game, the Coyotes clash with the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a 5A District 4 game, on Friday, April 19. Roswell will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Cavemen come into the game with a 9-7 record after their 18-0 league win over Clovis (Clovis, NM).
