In Tuesday's league contest, the Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Louisville Wildcats (Louisville, MS), by a margin of 15-1.
With the triumph, Kosciusko moves its record to 19-8 on the year. The Whippets host Amory (Amory, MS) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, April 19. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 9-17.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Greenville Hornets (Greenville, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 18. Louisville will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 6-11 record after their 11-4 league win over Canton (Canton, MS).
