California High School Softball - Ramona Convent bounces La Salle

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Ramona Convent Tigers (Alhambra, CA) and the visiting La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA), witnessed Ramona Convent's softball squad prevail over La Salle by a count of 14-1.

The Tigers now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart of Jesus for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 17. Ramona Convent will face a Comets squad coming off a 19-1 league win over St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Comets record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, La Salle moves to 3-12 on the season. The Lancers host Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA) to face the Jesters in a Camino Real match on Thursday, April 18. The Jesters go into the match with a record of 13-3. Saint Joseph won 11-5 in their recent league match against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA)
