The Cougars come into the game with a record of 15-3. South Brunswick won 16-5 in their recent league game against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)

In their next game, the Scorpions clash with the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Friday, April 19. North Brunswick will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 12-3 record after their 17-0 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
