The Mapleton Mounties softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting St. Paul Flyers to 1 in the Mounties league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mapleton moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Mounties travel to Plymouth (Plymouth, OH) to play the Big Red in a Firelands game on Thursday, April 18. The Big Red come into the game with a record of 1-7. Plymouth lost 11-1 in their recent league game against New London (New London, OH)

In their next game, the Flyers play the Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) in a Firelands game, on Wednesday, April 17. St. Paul will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Roughriders come into the game with a 1-5 record after their 5-2 league loss to South Central (Greenwich, OH).
