Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), 29-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Muckers now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Beatty for a 1A Southern challenge on Friday, April 19.

With the loss, Mineral County falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Serpents host Coleville (Coleville, CA) to battle the Wolves in a 1A Northern challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Coleville won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Smith Valley (Smith, NV)
