Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Thomas Aquinas for a GMC - Red challenge on Thursday, April 18.

With the loss, South Brunswick falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 5-2.
