California High School Softball - Placer can't hold off Nevada Union

The Placer Hillmen softball team (Auburn, CA), was tipped 10-9 in Tuesday's league test with the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA)

Coming up next, the Miners encounter the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley League test, on Thursday, April 18. Nevada Union will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 6-9 record after their 12-2 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA).

The Hillmen (0-8) will now prepare for their test against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers come into the Foothill Valley League test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, West Park edged Bear River (Grass Valley, CA), 8-2, in a non-league test.
