Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Taft for a Chicago Public Red challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Payton College Prep will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Northside falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) to battle the Champions in a Chicago Public Red challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Champions enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Lane Tech won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL)
