The Notre Dame Irish got by the visiting Steinert Spartans softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Irish (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ). The Ravens go into the CVC - Valley battle with a 4-1 record.

The Spartans now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 17. Steinert will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Allentown (Allentown, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 2-3.
