The Orange Panthers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Williams Bulldogs to 0 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Orange improves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC) to clash with the Fighting Red Wolves in a Central 3A game on Friday, April 19. The Fighting Red Wolves come into the game with a record of 9-5. Cedar Ridge won 11-4 in their recent non-league game against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 17. Williams will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Whirlies come into the game with a 3-9 record after their 30-16 league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC).
