Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC) and the visiting Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC), witnessed Powdersville's softball squad tip Wren by a count of 11-10.

The Patriots now sport a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Palmetto for a AAA Region 2 match on Friday, April 19. Powdersville will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Wren moves to 1-11 on the season. The Hurricanes host Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC) to face the Bears in a AAA Region 2 match on Friday, April 19. The Bears go into the match with a record of 20-3. Belton-Honea Path won 15-0 in their recent league match against Southside (Greenville, SC)
