The South Lamar Stallions softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host University Charter Trail Blazers to 6 in the Stallions league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, South Lamar moves its record to 8-16 on the year. The Stallions travel to Berry (Berry, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a 1A Area 8 game on Wednesday, April 17. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 12-12. Berry won 22-1 in their recent non-league game against Aliceville (Aliceville, AL)

In their next game, the Trail Blazers clash with the Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) in a 1A Area 8 game, on Wednesday, April 17. University Charter will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Tornadoes come into the game with a 5-12 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Central (Tuscaloosa, AL).
