Waukesha South Blackshirts (Waukesha, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Waukesha West Wolverines (Waukesha, WI), 10-9 in a league challenge.

The Blackshirts now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catholic Memorial for a Classic Eight challenge on Thursday, April 18. Waukesha South will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 13-5 league loss to Mukwonago (Mukwonago, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Waukesha West falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Pewaukee (Pewaukee, WI) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Pewaukee lost 29-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitnall (Greenfield, WI)
