The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates (Cardington, OH) and the host East Knox Bulldogs (Howard, OH), saw Cardington-Lincoln's baseball team get by East Knox by a tally of 6-5.

The Pirates (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Elgin held off Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH), 11-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the West Muskingum Tornadoes (Zanesville, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 19. East Knox will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Tornadoes enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 10-8 league loss to John Glenn (New Concord, OH).
