In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Crisp County Cougars baseball team scored a close 6-3 win over the Marion County Eagles.
The Cougars (12-17) will now prepare for their game against Coffee (Douglas, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 17-12 record. In their last game, Coffee by Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles play the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 18. Marion County will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Hornets go into the game with a 18-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA).
