The Dover Tigers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Hopatcong Chiefs to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. Dover will play a Dodgers team coming off a 7-5 league win over Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ). The Dodgers record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Hopatcong drops to 0-6 on the year. The Chiefs host Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ) to play the County Seaters in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The County Seaters go into the test with a record of 2-3.
