The Marshall Hilltoppers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Esko Eskomos to 2 in the Hilltoppers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Hilltoppers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Aitkin for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. Marshall will play a Gobblers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Gobblers record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Esko drops to 3-1 on the year. The Eskomos travel to Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN) to play the Agates in a Polar test on Thursday, April 17. The Agates go into the test with a record of 1-1.
