The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) baseball got by the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), 6-5 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Elks/Elkettes now own a 6-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Alamos for a 4A District 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 23.
With the defeat, Espanola Valley drops to 4-13 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to clash with the Pintos in a 4A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 19. The Pintos go into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Moriarty lost 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
