In Wednesday's league game, the host Williston Northampton Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 14-1 victory over the Frederick Gunn Highlanders.
The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Canterbury School (New Milford, CT). The Saints enter the Western New England game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Canterbury School was overwhelmed by Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT), 8-1, in a league game.
Next, the Highlanders face the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 18. Frederick Gunn will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Big Red enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 9-2 league loss to Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT).
