The Rock Bridge Bruins baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Helias Crusaders to 2 in the Bruins non-league win on Wednesday.
The Bruins now hold a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Truman for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. Rock Bridge will play a Patriots team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 9-9.
With the defeat, Helias drops to 3-10 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Oak Park (Kansas City, MO) to play the Northmen in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Northmen go into the test with a record of 8-9. Oak Park lost 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO)
