The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Truman (Independence, MO). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, Truman was overwhelmed by Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO), 5-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Eagles play the Central Bulldogs (Springfield, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 18. Joplin will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 4-6 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Willard (Willard, MO).
