The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) and the host Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL), saw Waterloo's baseball team gain a win over Mascoutah by a tally of 6-4.

The Bulldogs (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Marion (Marion, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Marion held off Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO), 8-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 18. Mascoutah will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 10-7 record after their 4-3 non-league win over St. Louis HomeSchool Patriots (St. Louis, MO).
