West Virginia High School Baseball - Point Pleasant loses to Winfield

The Winfield Generals triumphed over the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks baseball squad by a score of 9-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Generals encounter the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 18. Winfield will attempt to advance on its 13-3 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 9-3 record after their 12-5 non-league win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV).

The Big Blacks (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Frye (Beverly, OH). The Cadets enter the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Fort Frye was overwhelmed by Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV), 10-1, in a non-league outing.
